A Mindfulness meditation for releasing anxiety:



For many, it is such a hard time at the moment and so I really just wanted to share with you this wonderful 24 minute meditation I came across on the meditation app "Insight Timer".

I can’t endorse meditation enough.

Meditation gives me an extra layer of protection in almost any situation.

For example: At one of my Mother/Daughter weekends, there was division and exclusivity amongst the group and there was a hum of angst in the air. Although this hum was not directed at me, I too could feel it and I firmly believe that my clarity that I experienced due to my meditation practice allowed me to push the angst to the side and simply carry on with the program I had planned. As the facilitator, I was able to separate myself away from what was going on behind the scene, which ultimately had nothing to do with me. It could have been so tempting to fall into the trap of trying to “solve” or be open to at least hearing about it. Instead, I remained still and focused on delivering, what I knew in my heart was a top quality engaging and interesting program which ended up luring the crowd in and away from the external issues. Thankfully, embracing this unique opportunity of connection for mums and their daughters trumped.

In the above meditation, Glenn Harrold's voice is very soothing and pleasant to listen to.

The visualisation makes sense and the music in the background is perfect.
